For the past 28 years, students have competed for the honor of winning playboy's College Fiction Contest. This year, Nolan Turner of the University of California, Irvine wins for his story Something Ancient Welling Up. Students of Marshall Arisman at the School of Visual Arts in New York also compete to illustrate the fiction. Daniel Zender's winning entry is shown above.
